Gordon Murray Automotive unveils exciting T.33 S at Goodwood Festival
The automotive world is buzzing with anticipation as Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) prepares to showcase its latest creation, the T.33 S supercar, at the prestigious 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, scheduled from July 10-13 in the U.K. This event is not just a platform for unveiling new models; it’s a celebration of automotive excellence, and GMA is set to make a significant impact.

What to expect from the T.33 S

While specific details about the T.33 S remain under wraps, founder Gordon Murray has hinted at a model that is both “tougher and more focused.” This new version is expected to elevate the already impressive T.33, which was introduced in early 2022 as a successor to the T.50. The T.33 S aims to enhance track performance without being a dedicated track-only vehicle, unlike its predecessor, the T.50s Niki Lauda.

The T.33 S will likely feature significant upgrades, including increased downforce and refined suspension settings, designed to provide a thrilling driving experience. Moreover, enthusiasts can look forward to potential power enhancements, making this supercar even more exhilarating on the track.

GMA’s commitment to exclusivity

Gordon Murray Automotive has made a name for itself by producing limited runs of its vehicles, ensuring exclusivity and a unique ownership experience. The T.33 is powered by a 3.9-liter V-12 engine, developed in collaboration with Cosworth, delivering an impressive 608 hp. GMA plans to manufacture only 100 units of each body style, including the recently revealed T.33 Spider convertible. The T.33 S will likely have its own distinct production run, further emphasizing GMA’s commitment to exclusivity.

A celebration of automotive history

This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed theme, “The Winning Formula – Champions and Challengers,” aligns perfectly with Gordon Murray’s illustrious six-decade career in automotive design. The event will not only showcase the T.33 S but also celebrate Murray’s contributions to the automotive industry, including iconic designs like the McLaren F1 supercar and the Brabham BT46B “Fan Car.” The festival’s Central Feature sculpture will be inspired by Murray’s groundbreaking designs, highlighting his influence on both road and race cars.

Murray himself expressed his passion for automotive design, stating, “For 60 years, I have enjoyed the design and engineering challenge of pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.” His dedication to innovation and excellence is evident in every vehicle produced by GMA, including the upcoming T.33 S.
